kk creative web design was launched in 2015 by Kristy Maslin and Kate Goldberg when they decided to combine their talents and freelance businesses to build one successful new company from the ground up. Both women had a strong desire to work with small businesses and entrepreneurs and help them elevate their presence in the online marketplace. Within months, they retained clients from varying fields including insurance, law, catering, fashion and wellness services. Over the last several years, they have continued to hone important technology skills by staying on top of current design trends and also by taking advantage of educational and networking opportunities in their field.

Kate Goldberg is a co owner and content developer at kk creative. Originally from New Jersey, she has spent time living in several east coast cities from Washington, DC up to Boston, Massachusetts. Kate received a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University and a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. She has enjoyed a career that offered opportunities to work in entertainment public relations, corporate communications, and journalism. When her children were young, Kate’s favorite volunteer post was writing and directing the elementary school play for many years. She also taught ballet and musical theater in local after-school programs and preschools. In her spare time, Kate is an avid yogi and loves standing on her head just about anywhere the ground will allow. As a mom of two boys, and the wife of a Boston native, Kate roots for the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics, and (sometimes) has fun with that as a (rarely relaxing) pastime!

Kristy Maslin is a co owner and web designer at kk creative. She has spent most of her life living between New Jersey and New York City. Kristy has a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College where she left campus during the summers and spent her time working in various television internships. After graduation, she relocated to New York City and went to work editing TV commercials, documentaries and feature films. As her family grew, Kristy freelanced for Sesame Street and ran her own video production business. She has volunteered in her community, and is a board trustee of the Reitman Foundation. Kristy has a passion for travel which is a result of a sabbatical she took to volunteer in Africa in her twenties. She enjoys the outdoors, and especially loves hiking with her dog, Lucky. As a wife and mom living with three sports fanatics, Kristy is consistently challenged in finding time to study ESPN so she can participate in dinner conversations or daily banter!
